Granite repair problem

I recently had a small scratch removed from a Granite (http://tanbrown.org) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top.  I was told by the repair person that it could just be buffed out.  After the scratch was removed I had noticed that they had to sand (http://maplered.com) the finish down to remove it.  The problem is that they had gone too deep and (http://maplered.com) there is now a noticeable quarter size divot in the shiny finish.  Does anyone know if this is something that could be fixed?   Any responses would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks
